Cause

This campaign will assist our local Summerland Legion with capital projects including renovations to sound proof a meeting room by the kitchen which is used for memorial services and to provide meeting space for community organizations. During their operating hours they can also provide food and drink services. The Rotary Club of Summerland started meeting here in August and have experienced excellent service.

With sufficient community support for this 50/50 campaign, the Summerland Legion would also like to complete some other renovations to expand storage space and to update their building exterior and landscaping.

Our Summerland Royal Canadian Legion Branch 22 serves to support our armed forces veterans, their families and our local community organizations. The Legion is considered to a vital organization that has served our community very well in the past, still serves us in the present and which will serve us well in the future.
